I stumbled on this band checking out release dates and downloaded "The Obsidian Plains." I like the sludge meets black metal style going on here, and the dirty production values and strategic use of groove. If you haven't, give it a spin:

I found the tracks to be interesting, somewhat original, and even dead on ace at certain points, but not completely sold.
