I know this forum isn’t active anymore, but since it’s been a key resource for me in my research, I thought I should post here about the WOY book!
Yes, you read correctly! I am currently writing a Woods of Ypres biographical book titled “Deepest Roots: The Woods of Ypres Story”. I have permission from David’s mother and have already conducted over 100 hours of interviews with many important former band members and friends of the band.
As for me, my name is Shiiver and I write a black metal magazine called Arcane Archivist. That said, this new book will mark a temporary step away from the magazine so I can focus on Deepest Roots entirely.
Though we are still in early stages of the book, I have created an Instagram page so people can stay up to date with its progress: www.Instagram.com/DeepestRootsBook
