Worm Infested...banned from shelves.

Buy online. I never EVER buy anything from a store. Its much cheaper to buy from an online store.

Plus you can get any CD you want. Stores can only carry so much.

It is just the beginning of the complete revoking of our rights as people to see what we will... some stupid fuck doesn't liek it, get out of the fucking store... it is idicy and it will only get worse as time goes by if we do not attack people like that now (and I do not mean in an actual attacking sense)

It's unfortunate that they can't get banned for stagnation and redundancy. I guess attacking their lame "contoversial" artwork is the next best thing.
 That is so true.
Listen, I don't know about you, but I was once a little kid and I would hope that I would never see some chick getting eaten out buy a bunch of worms at that age. As an adult, such images, don't really bother me to much (I've seen the other CC album covers.) I do agree, if you don't like it, don't fucking look at it or buy it. Just don't say that protecting kids from shit like that is something bad.

Beat me to it.

Metalheadmarc, despite what the bleeding hearts tell you seeing violent art as a kid once and a while won't traumatize you.

Whats really ridiculous is people saying stuff like "if they dont like it the dont have to look" and "dont go in that store". Gimme a break. Not everyone in this world likes heavy metal and many find it offensive. You just deal with it.

Aren't you tolerant.

I don't like churches but I don't see contractors ripping them down or putting them in secluded areas so I don't have to look at them. I don't like rap but I don't see the cable company making certain I don't have to hear it.

hah so true

A lot of people are posting 'beat me to it' or something similar in reference to the post that said "It's unfortunate that they can't get banned for stagnation and redundancy. I guess attacking their lame "contoversial" artwork is the next best thing." I didn't realize that so many people had such a lame and unoriginal sense of humor.

Anyway, yes, I really enjoyed the EP. Though, I wasn't too big of a fan of 'Gore Obsessed' in general, the best track from it (the 'No Remorse' cover) is on the 'Worm Infested EP' anyway.

On the topic of Cannibal Corpse, their newest EP Worm Infested has been banned from shelves in my state..some fat, stupid, ugly as fuck whore has decided that children need not be seeing such offensive artwork in stores. It is such complete horseshit.
At least it gives you something to complain about to make you feel good, less bored and more excited towards life.

and children will accidentily come across it without looking and they won't see the harm some illustrations can do so your state has done the right thing.

If you think about it you are the horseshit.

Yes, but you are very much in the minority not liking churches, whereas the CC covers are designed to shock - hence they offend the majority of people. That is their sole aim, and as such they and their fans should accept the consequences. Your comparison to such a major part of our society is ridiculous in the extreme, whether you like it or not, religion is a major part of our culture, and has been for a long while. Hence ripping down churches for an extremist minority is ludicrous, whereas banning a cover that is meant to be offensive (and is for the majority) - including children who don't have the choice of whether to look at it or not on a store shelf - is only sensible. Plus such covers do affect children; in a world where they are getting de-sensitised to violence younger and younger, anything people can do to slow the process is beneficial. Even if it means you may have to buy your CD for cheaper on the internet and wait a few more days.

And I have great respect for blakmetalemp's tolerance. The majority of extreme metal fans continually complain about how intolerant religious communities and the authorities are of their views and music, but when it comes the other way are just as small-minded, and ignorant, as those they claim superiority over. It is not only stooping to their level, but displays great immaturity and lack of perspective..
