Wow... just, wow...

Holy goat, that sucks. Seeing those pictures makes me wonder just how far away a working class uprising in America might be... yeah, pretty damn far I guess --who needs uprising when there's tv?

one problem with the US, is that geographically it is too damn big for people to give a shit about anything else not directly in their own backyard.

I mostly agree. However, it's the responsibility of the news to put this in our backyard. Well, not Fox News, they have no responsibilities.

I don't want it in my backyard. Even if the media posts pictures of ths on TV, do you really think you, me, or that other guy will do anything?

"Yeah, hon, that sucs for them. Hopefully someone will help them."
"I hope so. Shhh, Grey's ANatomy is on."

point is ... the administration could do whatever the fuck they please ... nobody in America would ever do anything.

this is goign to sound a bit fucked up ... but you know why Communism did not succeed ... because they did not keep the people happy and fed ... so they revolted ... if they would have done so ... all the crazy fuckign megalomaniacal leaders would still be alive in their riches.

see where I am going with this ...

the whole, as long as it does not affect ME attitude, is exactly the reason the gov't can currently get away with anything ...

America is jaded, definitely needs a wake up call. 9/11 had the opposite effect, nobody really asked why they did what they did, but rather when we were going to retaliate, and how quickly. Those that actually did say "hey, hang on, yeah those dudes suck, but let's figure out why they hate us" were called unpatriotic. Not so much now, but for the first year or so it was definitely us v. them mentality, from everyone.

AMERICA! FUCK YEAH!

Come on, you should know by now, if you don't buy into the administration's policies hook, line and sinker, you're unpatriotic.

I use to defend this country when people spoke bad about it. After we re-elected W., I lost all respect for this place.

Hahaha....living in tents, with a brand new convertible parked outside the fence. That's what you call "hood rich".

But hey, they voted for Bush. Red states got what they wanted.

Holy shit that looks like Lake Joshua Tree. [/desert humoUr]

I remember I was in San Diego driving on the 78 when Bushy's win-speech came on in 2004, and he introduced Karl Rove as "The Architect." From that day forth, I have laughed my balls off. If that isn't funny, I don't know what is.

the fact that these conditions exist here is a testament to the administration's contempt for the american people.

i read an article a while back, shortly after katrina, that said something to the effect of "iraq is new orleans minus water plus two years. still wonder why they hate us?" and it's still not over here, so it's not gonna be over there for a long time. viet-wha?
