Wow, protools installed

Well, after years of Nuendo I am here with Pro Tools 8 installed. Needed it so I can set up sessions for the company I work for. I really needed to start learning it better since all the studios in Nashville record with it too. Going into blackbird without more knowledge wasn't fun. So fill me in on what the high points are I need to know and shortcuts!

Get atleast Protools 9. Allot of features added with that version. Improved import session data (used to be HD-exclusive) latency correction etc. Very useful functions.

Go to puremix.net, there's a free video that shows you a ton of useful shortcuts on the keyboard. Very informative.

All of the F(x) buttons and ctrl [/]. I hate watching people select there tool with a mouse and use that damn click and drag zoom.

or activate the "az" thingy and just click numbers 1-9 to select tool mode and r+t to zoom...

the scroll on your mouse if you click it will select the different tools
