Been putting some old demo tapes on cd so I thought I'd throw a couple up for you guys to check out.

The first is a Wrathchild Am demo from the mid 80's. They went on to release 2 albums on Atlantic and then a couple more after a name change to Souls At Zero. They are from my home town so I got to see them allot in the 80's.

The second is a demo from a band called Brick Mistress, it's from the late 80's. They were a band from around the Morgantown, WV area.

These are from tapes but after a quick clean up they don't sound too bad. Just click on the link in my sig if you'd like to check them out.

Dude I used to be a Wrathchild America nut. I have both "Climbing the Walls" and "3D." I saw them open for Pantera right after they released 3D. Pantera was supporting "Cowboys From Hell." When WA played Climbing, there were more people on stage stage diving than there were in the audience to cach them. I stage dove probably 10 times. I always liked "Day of Thunder." No one else seemed to like that song. The Floyd cover "Time" is cool too.

Very cool! Nice to find another Wrathchild fan. I have some live videos of them and one is from that Pantera tour (the last show if I remember right), and the stage is full of stage divers on that night also. Their drummer (Larkin) is the best drummer I've ever seen live! He's in God Smack now (yuck) but it sounds like they've toned him down, just playing boring crap now. His drum work on the first 2 Wrathchild albums is mind blowing.

Man they look diffferent in that pic hahahaha

Yeah, don't they! That was back when they had a fifth member (played bass) and were mainly a cover band. They did your run of the mill classic metal and hard rock. After they bass player left and they changed, doing Slayer and Metallica covers along with Bad Brains and Circle Jerks covers. They got way more thrashy.

Yeah it was a great show. Opening for Pantera, I was able to see two of the best drummers out there. Both Larkin and Vinnie Paul are fantstice drummers. At the show in Atlanta, it also happened to be Shannon's (Larkin) birthday so he came out in the crowd during Pantera's set and moshed with us. That was my favorite thrash concert I have seen.

Bryant- Have you ever heard Larkin and Jay's side project from back then? They were called Kiddie Porn, it was a hardcore band. Man, that was some funny stuff, song titles like Kill A Pep, No 1 Turd In The Shit Parade, Twenty Dollar Whore. I'll put some of that stuff on my page for you guys. They released 2 tapes locally.... Gift Of Hate and Conflict Of Mind. Larkin plays drums and sings. I saw them play this stuff live once and they had another drummer so Larkin could get out in front to sing and make a fool of himself..... IT WAS GREAT!!! He even fell of the stage about 2 minutes into the show! I have that show on video along with one other one where he sang and played drums.
