Been 4 years with mine, never had a single problem. Best amp I've ever heard live, with the Rodaster being in a close second position and the Savage in a third position to me. It just has a growl I've heard in no other amps.

I trust your opinion on guitar town, however, i know live tone and the tone you get recording with a mic 2 inches from the grill are completely different.
It sucks because i've sorta lost interest in buying the 5150 III, yet i found one at an extremely good price.
If i found a cobra for that price, i'd probably pick it up immediately just to try it out.

Whether or not you really care for the tone in any of them, it shows that the three amps really cover quite similar ground, no matter how you set them.
Brian, I borrowed both under a short while and while the Framus Cobra is an awesome amp, I really enjoyed playing with the 5150mkiii a lot more.
You've probably already seen both my videos with them(as I have practically forced them onto every fucking user of this forum ) and that they are capable of some awesome tones. Whatever you're choosing you'll probably end up really happy. If I were to choose I would go for the mkIII.
