Honestly, I remember back when it was the best place to get HTF albums. Now it's a bunch of bullshit, with all these fucking scam artists charging $9 for shipping to compensate for any low bids. WTF?! Fuck them & FUCK THIS SHIT!

be careful with those $9 shipping people. usually they are Russian printed CDs, because they know no one wants them.

what pisses me off is that Ebay sometimes stops black metal auctions they deem "hateful" or whatever. yet i bet they allow Eminem and 50 Cent albums to end

It's hard as fuck to find National Socialist Folk & Black Metal music on Ejew. Though, I find myself using it more and more as distros become an increasingly pain in the ass to deal with.

It can be cool for things other than CDs. I bought my computer on Ebay. I really don't see the point of buying cds there, especially since there are a lot of distros with better selections and frequently lower prices.

The majority of US distros, and a good number worldwide, sell on eBay. While it is a great place to find great deals on stuff, it is also part of the problem. We sell on eBay because sales are slow and sales are slow because we sell on eBay.

I absolutely refuse to buy from someone who significantly overcharges for shipping. It's one thing to make $.50 or so off of it, but something altogether different to charge $5.99 per cd, let alone these fucks that go for $8.95. Unless it is something I really, really want, I won't pay more than $3.00 for shipping (and that is still $.50 too much IMO).

Those Russian Federation faggots bait people in to their ads by offering their cds at $4.95. You click their auction with a smile on your face only to see $9 shipping. How about being straight forward and charging 13.95 ye fucking cunts!??!

It does suck that they nail you on the insertion fee, final value fee, and the Paypal fee. Unfortunately, it's a necessary evil for this Arse.

this is where the problem lies ... the ebay fees ...

shipping rates cannot be touched by ebay so people rather charge higher fees and lose money on the actual sale of the item.

ebay is slowly reverting back to the way they started, a place for unique and antique ... the rest right now is actually more expensive than anywhere else on the net.

they lost me a few years back, and I used to own an ebay store with a partner and 4 employees.
