:zombie:So im cant find any heavy chord shapes, and its the main reason im stuck in the rut that i'm in...my stuff is imo sorta pantera like but there only certain heavy sounding chord shapes that i know which areo_O:

learn the breakdown from Eaten by Bloodbath, bar chords are heavy as hell.

Heaviness depends on set up, amp, pickups... etc.

Plain out power chords should do the trick

Fixed for how I do it, because I prefer the sound of the 7th without the accidental.

Oh, and sometimes I do this, too.

I generally only play power chords on two strings though.
 
When I play power chords (See below), I put one finger on one string, and one on the 2 below. Easier

D-3 (2nd finger)
A-3 (2nd finger)
E-1 (1st finger)

These are as easy as power chords, on the lowest string, the 4, by the way its a G on standard tuning i believe, and the 6 are the same notes, different octaves.

What I do is i put my first finger on the 4, damp the 2nd string with my first without placing it on the fret, and put my 2nd finger on the 6.
 
I black-metalize my power chords sometimes by playing them all

basically a bar with the index finger. Sounds more eb1l.
 
Stop trying to take the kvltness out of my chords with your music theory. It's gr1mer if I have no idea what I'm doing.
