Hey lads, I know intonations been talk to death here, but I still can't get the low B string on my LTD M1000 to intonate right with the Floyd. I've got it all the way back and the 12th fret still sits 10-20 or so odd cents sharper than the harmonic. I've gone to heavier strings and the prob still exists. I've largely ignored but my OCD self would love to get it just right ;)

I remember watching a Corpse "making of.." for Kill I think, where Pat talked about grinding the saddles down on his floyd to give that extra headroom. I'm at my dad's place for the week with the guitar and he's got a proper grinder. Anyone have success doing this? I'm tempted just to try, since the saddles aren't overly expensive to replace.
