i dont see why theres so much mastodon hate, i mean i used to hate them before, but i never actually really listened to them

i would agree with the lambof god part, they arent great but theyre decent, but when they play live, its always fun

btw, good bands from America? How about Nevermore, Symphony X, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Death, Outworld, Arsis, Sleep Terror, blah blah blah etc. Not to mention a ton of the shred guitar Gods are from the US.. Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Shawn Lane, Rusty Cooley, Paul Gilbert, Chris Impellitteri, Randy Rhoads, Tony MacAlpine, John Petrucci, Jason Becker blah blah blah etc.

"Guitar Gods" is not good music, and certainly not good "band".

Being a guitar god is most certainly music, wheter you like it or not.

And swedish Melo-death sucks ass. It's all about riffs and melodies, where as finnish is more atmospheric and has shredd in it, like AlexiLiimatainen said. I prefer the finnish bands more., and i'm from sweden!
