YJM/Stacked Singlecoils

So yeah.. bought a strat the other day, and now im feeling that single coils give me the tone that i want, but as you guys know, single coils + distortion = BREERGHBSCHHHHHHHHTBREEEEERGH!

To the question: Has anyone tried the YJM's or any other stacked pickups?
I want a pickup thats really responsive to my playing, as i tend to play very dynamically, and one thats not too bright but still kind of twangy.. point me in the right direction guise!

I used to have a seymour duncan single coil sized humbucker in an old epiphone strat-like guitar. it was decent enough, not quite as high output as I would have liked but was ok for what it was. I see they do offer a jb jr. and screamin deamon jr. which might be up the alley you want.

Nah, ive played a few single coil sized humbuckers, not at all the tone i want(Since they sound more like humbuckers then singlecoils.).. but i am still considering the Li'l Screamin' Demon since im a Lynch-freak.

I have YJM-s (bridge and neck) in my strat and they are awesome for that kind of style if that's what you are after. I have the old DiMarzios though, not the Seymour ones.

Probably there's no difference at all, just a money issue.
