Yo! Laser's Edge...can you get this?

Ken,
Are you going to stock:
Iamthemorning - Belighted?
(I believe it is the same release date as Pineapple Thief's)

I would like to but I'm not sure there is a US release date for it. That means I have to source it through other means. More expensive and probably not on time.

Does kscope not release all their stuff to the US? I thought you typically got their stuff in the usual time.

Kscope likes to play games with street dates. Its rare that they don't release something here but often it comes out weeks after the European release date.

Case in point - I just found out that this Iamthemorning release is scheduled for the US mid-October, about a month after its out everywhere else.

So was this a general comment and applies my KENSO release question or just a specific response to the IAMTHEMORNING query?

Karl I missed the question. Sorry.

Its coming out on King Records in Japan. I have no access to it.

I believe there will be a 24/96 download available as well.

Ken, I'm sorry if my question sounded petulant, I was just confused. It is currently $37 on Amazon. I hope that some vender will list it for something less in the future.

Hey Ken,
Will you be stocking these? Both look to be slated for release this month but I don't if that means in the US as well.
Thanks!

Nuclear Blast told me that a different label was releasing it in the US but they didn't know who. I asked Pete Morton and he didn't know either.

A US release date of 9/30 is displayed on the Threshold website. It wouldn't make much sense for it not to get a release over here.

Hmmm. With Nuclear Blast Europe listed as the label for the digital downloads at those kind of sites, it is a bit hard to imagine that there would be enough revenue for another label to want to grab the CD only release rights. I am just getting more and more confused about this album's situation. BTW, September 30th is listed as the release date at the digital download sites, so possibly that is what the Threshold site is referring to (not to a CD release at all).

Ken, hopefully you will be able to import some copies of this album shortly after the European release date if that appears to be our only option.

I just started a thread over on the Threshold forum to see if anyone knows whether or not there will be a CD release in the states.

If it's in question, I might just pre-order direct from the band.
