Here's the update, friends: (a few hours late but o`well..)

Due to personal issues (mainly family and work) Yossi will not be able to take part in the band's forthcoming tour. This is definitly not a permanent step and you will surely see Yossi tearing the stages down in the near future.

This is the first time Yossi will absent any Orphaned Land performance. He have taken a mature decision which he's peaceful with, made with the mind and not the heart this time...

After a series of long and hard auditions, a back-up played have been chosen! His name is Tal Bahar and he is one of the finest active guitarists in israel nowadays !

I will personally make sure Tel will visit out forum and that you`ll get to know him and his previous matter recorded !

Hi,

I hope there's nothing bad for Yossi.

I guess it's hard to tour for one month when you have a job and a family...

it is
Yesterday I planned to publish this post in the morning but I visited jerusalem and got lost in the streets of the ancient city...
I found myself home only after 11pm so...
sorry about that guys. :\

Don't worry Yossi, you are the first one of all of us who knows that Orphaned Land just started spreading the world!!! :hotjump:
This is only the beggining! There will be a LOT more gigs worldwide so that he can be with the other group members playing and bringing the storm!
As for Tal Bahar,i wish him to give his best in every gig that he'll be with Orphaned Land!!!

I personally don't see how orphaned land can be the same without Yossi, but I trust he made this decision for good reasons.
You rule Yossi!!! :headbang: one of the best guitarists ever!!
Best of luck to the replacement guitarist, Tal - he better be good as hell..

Well, having seen them yesterday in Holland, I can say Tal is a good replacement! Good work Tal (and a nice guy on top of that)!

I agree Erik! Ofcourse everyone misses Yossi- but I am 100% certain that there wil lbe other occasions where we will be able to see the band with Yossi playing.
In this case it is of the utmost importance that OL has this big opportunity to concer Europe and we must all do our best to help them with this and spread the music!

Tal from Distored?

I love Yossi,i think he is the best but if he can't tour with band this is the best think we do is support him..

I'm Forever Orphaned!(with yossi:))

nop
Tal have another band which I don t remember its name at the moment

Thanks for your support everyone! this is really a very common method of enabling bands to fullfil their tour duties whenever needed. It is my decision and my execution of finding a backup guitarist for live show abroad as a backup. Tal replaces both myself and Matti when needed.

OK, Now for the latest news,-
It's almost certain that I will join the band in the middle of the european tour, closer to end of May.
I will update about it later in more detail, but be sure I'm doing my best to come see you folks on the road :)

hehehhe- you made us happy. Now that is not saying Tal is not a great guy doing a great job, but.... I miss our talks and seeing you on stage behaving like a madman.
So if you're there, I'm there! ( lol, I hope my new boss is not going to fire me over this- just imagine, tomorrow is my first day of work at a new job and I will be asking for days off)

Great news Yossi!!!!

pity that you coudn't come to Berlin Yossi, ... maybe we'll meet someday on an other OL gig

anyway..... ani le'achelet kol tuv lecha, Yossi :Spin:
