but i _do_ need them :)

so if anyone else can be of more help, plz feel free to do so ;)

Oh, just describe that å thing to me plz (i more or less know the swedish letters, just which one is it?) :)

And thank you, you are very kind :)

it is the a with the circle on the top...it is considered to be a separate letter and it is pronounced like our omikron

you're welcome :)
I loooooove swedish

Oh thanks :)

I love swedish too, wish i knew more :)

All swedish i know i learned from my 1-week trip there last year(hope you are not jealous mel ;) ) and from a swedish-english dictionary some people gave me as a gift there :)

ok,i won't get jealous...though it's hard ;)
but i know that some day sooner or later i will be up there :)

i've never been up there..but at least i'm glad i can speak,understand,read... :)

Hope you have listened to people who actually speak swedish. It took me about 5 days to actually start understanding the way they pronounce things. OUCH! totally different than written... Next 2 days I started learning. With one more week I bet i would be an expert ;)

Seriously now, you are really lucky to understand, read and speak. Plus you will know a lot more when you go up there. Wish I knew more when i went. Now I'm jealous

Siren ;)

First of all, thanks to Siren for reviving this thread. And now, just a question. We know the japanese ppl do their symbols (alphabet) and each one means a concrete idea. So, if they've almost 3000 symbols, if they want to express a new idea what can they do? Invent a new one and then spread it out?

And the japanese keyboards for computers... are such enormous keyboards full of symbols?! :loco:

I reckon Malveaux can help us with that, but he's missing, so if someone else can explain it...

|ngenius (who knows there is a logical way to explain it all, but it's more funny to shoot first with his verbal paranoia)

Well I can tell you that mexican keyboards are very strange cause we have a lot of weird alphabets, the mayan alphabet, the náhuatl alphabet, the totonaca alphabet, zapoteco alphabet and so on...
