Therapy? - A Brief Crack of Light (amazingly consistent band, great album)
Mull Historical Society - City Awakenings (perfect pop record).

I've also pledged for:
Hawk Eyes (previously Chickenhawk) - Ideas (can't wait to receive this album - fantastic band)
Ginger Wildheart - (triple album featuring 30 songs. Released towards the end of march. This one is very special indeed.)

Next week I'll be buying:
Motorpsycho - The Death Defying Unicorn (double concept album. This one looks to be a really ambitious prog record. They've collaborated with a respected jazz musician on this one, and the album features vast orchestrations in the form of strings, horns and loads more.)

2012 is shaping up to be a year with loads of exciting releases.

I'm not sure if I've already posted this, but I bought it back in December, and for once an expensive box set was well worth the money! All four DTP albums, two bonus CD's (bonus tracks, demos and unreleased songs) and too DVD's (live show, videos, separate tracks for doing your own mixes:hotjump. The booklet is also like a real book.

Holy flippin' heck! The new Motorpsycho album, "The Death Defying Unicorn" is absolutely stunning! It's a proper prog record, essentially a rock opera, with some stoner rock-vibes and lots of jazzy experimentation.
Loads of strings, loads of horns and a mammoth bass sound.

Although clearly inspired my lenghty 70s prog albums, this thing is a unique bloody masterpiece!
Probably not everyones cup of tea, but if your into concept albums, prog, long jams and huge orchestrations then maybe you'll enjoy this. It doesn't really get that cheesy either, which is a huge plus.
