Hey Allan just wondering, are the EMG 808 kind of like the 8 string version of the 81? Also, what voltage are you running them at?

I believe it is based on the 707 which is it's own thing, not an 81 or 85 but somewhere in between. The X series is supposed to have more headroom internally, like running at 18V so I just run it at 9V, it doesn't clip itself like a regular EMG.

Right on man! Glad you dig the song. Mix is good so far, I like everything except the drums seem to stick out weird, need some more ambience or something. Vocals could use a bit more de-essing too. I prefer the real amps.

Fantastic track to mix.
I had a go at it today.
Re-amped through ts808>6505>Mesa os>57&421>API
For the main guitar L/R I favoured the 57 left and the 421 right to get <wide>
Bass re-amped through Hartke Bass Attack DI/Preamp.
The provided guitar tracks are good but I thought it would be a good exercise to get a sound that sits well myself.
I used the provided drum stem.
Didn't have time to do any automation so this is a static mix.
Quick overall eq and ozone limiter.
I will have another look at this next week if I can find time.

Bass is LeXTAC.
Drums are the included stems with a sidechain to a compressor.

I finished my mix yesterday. I think that was the hardest song to mix i've done so far, just because of all the stuff going on at the same time, but also the best production and song itself. Thanks for giving us the chance to mix it, great practice! I like how my mix turned out, even like to think that its my best work i've done so far.
