Come on, let's do this just for the hell of it. Our tastes here evolve like lightning...so anyway, I could keep writing Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath etc in my lists until the cows came home, so here's a list of my favourite bands today (whether I own all their albums or not).

So to shoot the breeze, and in no order:

Hammers of Misfortune
Agalloch
Melechesh
EDIT: Negura Bunget (replacing Evoken)
Falkenbach
Drudkh
Orphaned Land
Empyrium
Solstice
Reverend Bizarre

Damn, I like that list.

Can't really be bothered to put this in order but here goes

1.Vital Remains
2.Nokturnal Mortum
3.Pestlilence
4.Summoning
5.Cadvaer
6.The Chasm
7.Dissection
8.Behemoth
9.Krisiun
10.Miasma

And that's all the bands i've listened to today so far.

This'll coincide with what is in my car right now probably:

Edge of Sanity
Drudkh
The Doors (replaces Bathory)
Possessed (replaces Mr. Bungle)
Blut Aus Nord (replaces In the Woods...)
Carcass (replaces Empyrium)
Tool
Swans
Kyuss (replaces Iggy & the Stooges which replaced Stereo MC's)
Led Zeppelin (replaces Life of Agony)

Nokturnal Mortum
Negura Bunget
Dornenreich
Disbelief
Neurosis
Void Of Silence
Blut Aus Nord
Naglfar
Samael
Tenhi

This list changes to much. Remove In the Woods... and replace it with Blut Aus Nord.

Neurosis
Reverend Bizarre
Orodruin
Blut Aus Nord
Godspeed You Black Emperor
Radiohead
Tool
Today Is The Day
YOB
Rebreather

Ta dah...Half of these are staples, the other half fluctuate all the time.

I havent Heard the new Ozric yet
Darkstar: Imagine instrumental Psychotic Waltz (Bleeding era) yet more psychedelic and atmospheric, with more dreamy melodies and samples. Logical, because its Dan Rock's project. Pure music for flying. They are beyond amazing/divine/great etc. Their first album "Marching Into Oblivion" is the best instrumental album ever (imo).
Veni Domine: Candlemass meet Queensryche and Fates Warning. Something like that. The music has standard traditional/epic doom riffs, with atmospheric, epic keyboards and a progressive aura. The singer sings like Geoff Tate. Their first 2 albums (Fall Babylon Fall and Material Sanctuary) are highly recommended (and the third one is great too)
