BGK - Spread Eagle ROCK!!! :headbang: Back On The Bitch has to be one of the heaviest, sleaziest & most in your face sleaze/glam songs ever!

Nice choice with Warren DeMartini he's actually my 2nd fave guitarist ever (dunno why I left him off the list), nice choice with Ronnie too. Also, you know who is really underrated? The guitarist in Shotgun Messiah, killer player!

yep Harry Kody from Shotgun Messiah is awesome. Second Coming has some huge riffs
and he lets rip on the solos. Ive read a lot of the Swedish bands from that era hold him in very high esteem. Paul Di Bartolo from Spread Eagle is leathal. Great kick ass album the first one - a classic for anyone who likes the Skid Row style. Le Tekro is a god. I want the new TNT. Its on my want list high up with the new Tesla.

I think the last Skid Row album is a grower. Some huge riffs in that one too (particularly the first few toons) and the singer although not Sebastian does a good job. The Skid Row remake should have been left off - that was crap.

Im a big fan of Sebastian Bach as a singer but I can imagine how difficult it would be for the band to work with him. The Bach stuff thats been released aint been much.

I heard the new Tesla yesterday. It's pretty fuckin' heavy! There's some good shit on it too... sounds like its a pretty good album.

Spawny you should check out Spread Eagle's first album. Killer bad attitude sleaze metal. As BGK said its in the vein of Skid Row.... songwise its alot like Skid Row's debut mixed with Appetite For Destruction I reckon but even nastier, sleazier (sexist is probably more accurate actually haha) & more in your face than those 2 put together, and some of the riffs actually even have a Slave To The Grind feel.

Spread Eagle debut is errr awesome!! Switchblade Seranade is a stand out. Second album wasnt as good but I still like it. Another great Skid Row styled band is Canada's Sven Gali. Ever bit as worthy! Excellent album. Their second album In Wire is dramatically different and crap. Steer clear of that one.

Yeah I like Open To The Public as well but nowhere near as much as the debut.

I'll have to check out Sven Gali. Have you heard Slik Toxik? They remind me of Skid Row too, especially songs like Midnight Grind and Sweet Asylum. Nicholas Walsh is a great singer..

It wasnt the singer I minded BGK, he is actually very good, and even sounds great on the old stuff from the bootleg I have, but the songs on their new album were like Matchbox 20 and The Goo Goo Dolls for the most part and NOWHERE near as good as their first 3 albums :(

Spawn I know what you mean with those comparisons. It was definitely more modern sounding - I wouldnt go as far as Matchbox 20 but I know what ya mean. I didnt like the album at all at first but I gotta say it has grown on me but I have pretty broad taste.

I have really broad taste too, I like death metal, thrash metal, heavy metal, even some power metal :)

Only Ghost is as good as their previous stuff, and One Light Burns is a nice ballad too, I didnt like the rest at all :(

Yeah Spread Eagle shits on Slik Toxik, Doin' The Nasty is a pretty patchy album. Just making the Skid Row comparison there heh. But has a few killer tracks on it... the first 3, Blood Money and Midnight Grind in particular are all rockin' and I love Nicholas' voice.
