1). What is it that draws you to Amon Amarth's music? Why do you enjoy it so?
I love mythology, always have, and they sing about Norse mythology almost exclusively. They are very powerful too, in the guitars, the vocals, etc so you really feel the energy they make as corny as that sounds. It makes me feel powerful.
2).
a) Do you like/listen to other bands with a Nordic theme? If so, which?
Funnily enough not. I mean I love Norse things but other Viking metal bands I've heard (granted not many) haven't compared so I didn't bother. But I do love folk metal (Finntroll, Ensiferum and Korpiklaani)
b) Do your interests in them follow a similar pattern to Amon, or not?
I suppose so. Like with the mythology bit. I'm not religious at all so I'm not following Norse religion but some of the themes and icons in there I really like. I wear a mjolnir pendant not because I necessarily believe there's really a god called Thor but for what it symbolizes.

1. The vocals kick ass. Music is melodic which I love. Lyrics are about Viking mythology/history which interests me a lot.
