I have several, but I'd say that my favorite riff is the bridge in New World by Hypocrisy. It slays me every time.

Likewise, I have several. Too many, in fact. One that's always had a long-lasting effect is 'Crazy Train', by Randy Rhoads. Some others: 'Thunderstruck', 'Riff Raff' etc. by AC/DC; 'I Am The Black Wizards'; 'Dire' into 'Consequence' and 'Velvet Kevorkian' into 'All Hail The New Flesh' by SYL (and many more by Devy and Jed); loads of Slayer and Megadeth; Testament's 'Over The Wall' and...and...aah, *head implodes*

I've been playing the riff to south of heaven a lot lately even though I dislike slayer they have great riffs.

I'd have to say Led Zeppelin has the most classic riffs of all time though.
