Your favourite beer

I had a now rare chance to have some beers this past weekend and I had some Rampage IPA from Black Diamond Brewing.
9.0 and beautifully hoppy. ABQ, any thoughts?

I see Black Diamond has opened a new huge taproom in Concord. My company's Regional offices are in Concord. I haven't been invited to go back there for some time now. I think they need to invite me. I've been to EJ Phair, but had not made a venture to Black Diamond in Walnut Creek previously. Sounds pretty awesome though...

I enjoyed a nice Bell's Oatmeal Stout last night. Very nice flavor

Bell's is awesome. Two Hearted Ale is sublime. I was in Detroit for a job interview when I had my first taste. I haven't had the Oatmeal Stout though.

I scored 16 bottles of Unibroue 17 Grand Reserve... almost let this bad boy go permanently out of stock!
I had it shipped to me (for free) from a store that was 24 hours away, but within the same Province... this was basically my only option left!

Bastard.

;)

Just got back from an LA trip last night. We finished our conference at 3:00 and the flight back wasn't till 7:50. Green Flash IPA on tap, a couple bottles of Delirium, and a Firestone Walker Union Jack on tap later made for a tough plane ride to keep my eyes open. Good times with workmates I hadn't seen for several years though.

I like all of Green Flash's stuff. The Trippel is great. Le Freak is one of my faves. West Coast IPA is really good. They finally started selling here in NM.

First time I've been able to get my hands on Firestone Walker though. Glad to have finally tasted it.

I just got back from the liquor store... my order came in.
Let's just say I spent over $450, and I do not regret a single thing.

Add this to my recent $140 Unibroue 17 order, and it's going to be a good year.

EDIT: I'm sure Shred would like to know what I got, so here's the list:

8 - Lava Smoked Imperial Stout
14 - St. Ambroise Russian Imperial Stout (bourbon wood-aged)
14 - Dominus Vobiscum Triple
14 - Affligem Tripel
4 - La Chouffe
3 - Fuller's Vintage Ale (2009)
2 - Southern Tier Choklat
8 - Solstice D'Hiver
14 - Brooklyn Monster Ale
10 - Nogne 0 Imperial Stout

The spring release just came out, so I'll be adding some IPAs to this list shortly... then I'm done for a while.

I'd suggest a refrigerator. haha. Don't want all that good stuff to go icky. Or are you saving it for those drinking games from the book below? I wouldn't think it fitting to waste all that wonderfulness on drinking games either... Get a fridge.

Impressive. Most impressive.

LOL, I knew somebody would mention the drinking game! Don't worry, I'd never drink this stock without appreciating every drop!
I usually drink this stuff before it reaches 18 months old, so it should be okay in my basement here. I would prefer about 10 degrees colder, but I can't get a fridge at this moment :(
