As I post some days before, I was very excited about the idea of investing in my first summing box, but beeing in the real world, I can´t spend 2k€ in SSL X-desk, so thats why I´m on the market searching for something in the 1K€ area..
I´ve read such a good words about both items, but I´d like to hear you opinions around here!
Links: A4: http://www.tlaudio.co.uk/docs/products/A4.shtml
FAT TRACK: http://www.tlaudio.co.uk/docs/products/Fat_Track.shtml

As you will see, fat track has 10 possible summing channels (2 mono and 4 St), monitor control, two preamp channel....while A4 is just 16 ch summing box....

So, please any input is appreciated, cheers!

You need to have an idea about what you want to achieve with a summing box, before market for one. If you go to sumbox way because you want same thing you can optain with console: buy a console but before that, learn how do thing on analog world... But if you are on sumbox market for all benefice sumbox add, now we speak. What do you want? Transparence or color? How many channel? Sorry to didn't really answer your question...

Hey man! I want a summing box because summing in the box inside sonar sound a bit digital and "cold" to me, so I´m on market searching for some affordable/valve summing box. Channels?? Well, with 4 ST I have enough, but 5 or more would be great. I´ve planned routing my main outs (Drums, GTR´s, Bass, vocals & leads) to the summing box and then finishing my mix.
The fact is that my ideal gear is the SSL X-desk but I don´t have enough money, so that´s why I need some opinions on the TL´s
Thanks for replying!!
