hmm...if you look at mosts people's favourite guitarplayers lists, they almost look all the same IMO. I never had any Vais, Satrianis, Yngwies or Petruccis in my fave guitarists list. I'm more into _metal_ guitarists that can shred (only to a certain extend) but have a wonderful sense of melody and a somewhat bluesy feel in their solos. Two out of those ten guitarists in my list are mostly rhythm-guys (Jensen and Simon), but they are soo damn good at what they do that they belong into this list.
