first off, capitalism... it's run by independently (not govt. owned) owned businesses pretty much (am i right?) ok well independent business is always going up and down (always down after up, always up after down (so far haha)) on a little cycle known as the business cycle. the business cycles goes in and out of inclines (forgot the official word) and recessions. well, if the whole economy of this country is tied with independent business, then cycle heavily affects it. see what i'm gettin at yet? ok well say if we make the govt. more involved we'll probably get out of the recession sooner. but then the next recession comes around so the govt takes some more control. my point is, it's a recession... big deal. however, the one industry i do feel the govt. needs to grab by the testicles is the oil companies for obvious reasons.... fuck i lost my train of thought. flame away so i may defend again

Moderation. Look it up, going from one extreme to another is never a good thing. Although to my knowledge, the democrat party aren't in that big of a liberal extreme... I could be wrong but they seem ok, not perfect but ok.
