So yeah I actually did a full blown recording with a mic'd up Axe Fx + Monoblock for a song. This time I had a little help with my band Scarpoint and the backing track from our new album(mixed by our own Jocke Skog). So everything except the guitars are from the album.

Also the solo I'm attempting to play is played by Fredrik Thordendal on the album so cut me some slack :D

Signal chain goes like this:
Ibanez RGD2127z----AxeFx----Atomic Monoblock---MesaBoogie Roadster 2x12---SM57----Apogee One----Logic 9----FAME...

Also just to promote the band a bit, the album will be released the 23th of february.

Enjoy!

Great sound , the solo was v close to Fredrik T's tone , was it a patch of his ?
My Axe Fx has been delayed ......... :waah:

My favourite Feared song I've heard for now, really really good. :)

edit : leaving my fail there, I meant Scarpoint ;)

Wanted to hear how the Axe Fx sounds when miced with a poweramp for some time now, sounds awesome!
best Axe Fx tone I've heared so far I think

Nice song, Ola! but did you plug your guitar into the afx on this clip or was it just for show off :Spin:?! The input lights don't seem to be working... :u-huh:

Ha it seems that way but the strap from the soft rack-case always have to be infront of the rack, unless I hook it off. It's usually in the way so if I want to edit anything I have to first move the strap back and forth. :) So it's just in the way of the the lights
