If nobody's heard of them before, Entwistle Pickups are a UK budget brand. I steered clear of them for years due to their stupidly cheap prices, but being practically harassed by a few people to try them out, I did, and they weren't wrong in their description of them. Very good for the money, would definitely recommend, particularly this model.

They're a great cheap option. I guess you'd have to feel the guitar out first and see what would suit it
If it's a chunky guitar they would be perfect, but I wouldn't dream of putting them in something like an RG. They'd be way too thin.
 
Well, sounds you provided didn't sounded muddy(not low-mid heavy) and that's my preference, so they sound pretty much perfect for what I'm intended to build.
