Thanks, yeah I'm not to fond of soloing actually... I especially don't like writing them since I have no improv-skills or know any theory, so it's a lot of trial and error thing.
But playing other guys solos is ok.

Fuck, you sound like Mikael Akerfeldt and Marty Friedman "NAH MAYNEE, DON'T KNOW NO THEOREEEEY!" but somehow you guys manage to to understand how to apply the correct scales to chord progressions/key signatures, in general have a decent understanding of the harmonic minor, natural minor, some diminished concepts and understand how to throw the right chords together
I can never tell if people like you guys are full of shit and say it to make us think you're all crazy geniuses, or whether you're for real, because to me, someone that "doesn't really know theory" certainly wouldn't be fucking around with death metal riffs with diminished concepts and the harmonic minor scale haha

Dude I just play the shit I think sounds good. I've been trying to do that last 10 years so I think I've found a way that works for me. It would probably save me a lot of time If I knew theory in the first place but right now I don't have any time to learn anything.
