He's ok in my opinion, there's a million out there like him. For that style of music I like Triviums Travis Smith.
Huh? That guy is a kick ass drummer...what do you mean by cant play anything nice?

I'm not saying he's a bad drummer, he looks like a good sturdy drummer. There's just nothing that jumped out at me. The drummer I just picked up for my "Mo Beach" project has wicked feet on those pedals and overall is a great drummer, so it takes someone unique to impress me.
I would say the guy in the video is mainstream, sturdy, skilled and solid, but far from being a McBrain, Portnoy or Smith

I'm not saying he's a bad drummer, he looks like a good sturdy drummer. There's just nothing that jumped out at me. The drummer I just picked up for my "Mo Beach" project has wicked feet on those pedals and overall is a great drummer, so it takes someone unique to impress me.

I dont see what makes a drummer good.
Any one with the ability to keep time and drums is a drummer.
Again, nothing jumped out at me and said this guy is special.
Nothing special about the kit, the style or the video, just a tubby tub thumper.
I go and see a lot of local unsigned bands and I have seen college drummers that where on that level, I've seen signed bands with drummers worse than that, I've seen unsigned bands with better than that.
What makes a good drummer?
I have a mate that can play double kickdrum like nothing I have ever heard before......doesnt make him a good drummer.

That singer certainly seem an angry young man, better be carefull, he's gonna burst a blood vessel if he doesnt calm down.
Well I am just learning to play the drums now and to me that guy is amazing! *shrug*
His timing is absolutely impeccable and I love how much energy he is putting into that song. I wish I were half as good as that guy!

I know Eric in daughters of mara, he is a real nice kid- he was booted from submersed. ...the drummer zak is a funny guy.

Yeah Eric is a cool guy. I first met him backstage at a Sevendust show. I am going to be hanging with the band or at least shawn this weekend. They kick ass!!!
