Anyone remember Masquerade from Sweden? They're primarily are hard rock band, but their 2nd album Surface of Pain was very 'power metal'. Its a bit of a favourite of mine and I think alot of you guys would dig their vibe. Just found this video on youtube of them, didn't even know it existed.

Yep, Surface Of Pain was a very fine album. I think they have another one after this, which was not nearly as good...

Exactly. 'Surface of Pain' is killer, the following album 'Flux' not as killer. I lost track of the band after that. They should have stuck with the SOP formula.

there is actually a debut album from 1992 that came out on ZERO Records in Japan, or at least that is what label my copy is.
