Blind Guardian Reissues

Has anyone heard a real release date for the Blind Guardian remasters, or better yet actually found some available? My PPUSA CD budget will depend largely on whether those discs are available.

The Blind Guardian remasters are available now.Check CD Universe they have them.My friend just got Imaginations yesterday and says it sounds great,comes with a demo and a couple of videos.

Thanks. Alas, that means I'll have less to spend on other discs at PPUSA. The Guardians are a must-have.

Unless its a full remix and remaster, I dont think I would bite on these. I am sure Curufin will give his two cents when he gets back.

Battalions of Fear and Follow the Blind are definitely must-haves. They were the only two that were remixed in addition to the remastering. The rest of the catalogue sounds a bit cleaner and sharper, but not nearly as much as BoF and FtB. The bonus tracks on the CDs are pretty neat as well, since this is the first time a lot of them (like the Lucifer's Heritage demos) have been officially released.

I like how BoF and FtB sound on the originals, there will be no remasters for me!
