Really? I've been listening to them forever and I just don't understand the prog label. They just seem like an extraordinary melodic death metal band to me.

Matter of perception, perhaps. I've been listening to them since the start and always thought they were more than just really good melodeath. No matter how you classify them, though, they're going to crush at the fest.
