    cd/songs that make you visualize things

    The only song that does this to me is Veneno Para Las Hadas from Steven Wilson's (Porcupine Tree) soloalbum... It always triggers really nostalgic memories - but it's always different ones. And it's just an almost frozen image of that memory aswell - nothing really happening. It's weird...

    Ah, this has turned into a beer discussion :D Great Divide's Titan IPA is my favourite at the moment. Piney and awesome. The Swedish Oppigårds Amarillo is fantastic aswell. Generally, I'd say the hoppier, the better, but there are some exceptions to that, of course.

    Three days of Anathema began last night!

    the chorus of this one is unbearable ONLY because of the sheep vocals. Also, there is a moment on the new one where he sings "I was in panic/Paris(?) there" which he does in both a horrible accent and with that disgusting vibrato thing. I can't express my hatred of that enough.

    Great setlist. Always wanted to see Anathema, and passed up on an opportunity to see them in Glasgow a while back... I regret it. Are these the shows they're doing with Blackfield?

    "Your name sucks and your singer is pretty horrible, but the music is ok" is probably the most common view.. (some criticize the drummer (being me) as well :bah: ) Ok.. now I need to stop stalking this thread....

    Yes... we were twelve when that name was settled for.. we're making fun of it ourselves. We kept changing it, but no one recognised us, so we kept it in the end. When we start back up again we'll change, though
