I think that's just Dave's way of joking, I wouldn't read much into it even though at face value it seems offensive. I think he just assumes people know that he's kidding because he makes those types of awkward jokes every show. Also jokingly cuts himself down a lot and acts very appreciative...

I mean, Wintersun is awesome and all... but hmmm... not to sure about this, mate.

I wouldn't reccomend Zen of Screaming at all, personally. Melissa Cross sounds terrible. I'm with the dude that says just play with your voice. The only thing "Zen" may help you with is not fucking your voice up. Not necessarily make it sound bitchin.

Maybe try out the lower versions of Pro Tools, pretty good self explanatory stuff. I like Cubase too.
