    Peavey Valveking

don't wanna hijack the thread, but as long as we're talking combos... anyone try the Triple XXX Super 40 1x12 combo? how does it compare to the head? I'd be running it through a 4x12 of course, as it would be a studio amp...

    song with Andy Sneap samples!!

Well, I play the guitar, bass and keys, so I always mix everything too high... :) especially the vocals... :D

    Question about Celestion Speaker's

Or maybe it's just weird rating practices... I mean, my 1960B cab has a 320w rating, but it contains 4 G12-65 speakers...

    New tone

well, that's true... but, I'm sure they didn't mean that... only by using a real torch are you going to get troo results... especially with bands that have some form of dragon in their name... :loco:

    randall

just to get it out there... a 200w amp is not that much louder than a 100w one... to double the volume, you would need a 1000w amp... that being said, one of my bandmates has a 100w Randall and it's perfectly fine, actually more than enough (volume wise) for both rehearsals and live...

    Digitech BP200

I have one... it's very decent actually... I used to play with effects on the bass and it was great then... now I just plug into my Fender Bassman ( a very underrated bass amp (for metal at least)) and let it rip... it's great... but, if you need effects, this is the best you can get in that...

XT: Rack Mount Vs. Bean - Your Preference

One thing about the Pro... I see it has a line in and an unprocessed out... how unprocessed is it? What I really want to know is whether you can reamp with the rackmount version? I mean reamp with real amps instead of its tones? Basically, I'm asking if you're getting a free reamp box in the...

    re installing nuendo.

You can go ahead and reinstall it, it won't touch your sessions and other stuff. You don't need to uninstall plugins either; however, maybe one of the plugs was the culprit for your problems with Nuendo... what kind of problems did you have?

Here's a tough one... (for me at least)

not sure whether I'm missing the point, or everyone else is, but if I understand the question correctly - no, there should be no problems at all. They are all just wave files after all (even the "loose" ones), and you're just mixing them like you would mix any number of mono and stereo tracks...

    Therion maybe?

    Building my own new PC...

Just wanted to state that there are speed benefits from using a RAID setup... been there... had a RAID 1 configuration that I had to break up because my RAID controller doesn't like my sound card... and I'm still bummed about it... and it's not only noticeable in tests, but in real world use as...

    Presonus Firepod- your opinions?

"Thanks to sophisticated discrete Class-A technology" I'm not even sure what this means... however, without going into too much detail about this, and without seeing the actual circuitry, I don't think these are all discrete class A pres... I can say that I have never seen a discrete class A...

Q for the euro guys....marshall mods?

OT quote from vanweelden.com: "The “Gainland” is an all-tube single channel medium/high gain lead pre-amp specifically designed to produce classic rock sounds with a bluesy feel, but will be pleased by metal players also." :) :) :) Metal players! Please, please my preamp! :hotjump: :grin...

    OT: Studio Ghost Stories anyone?

About a year ago, I was tracking the guitar player of my band... we're sitting in the control room, both with headphones on, listening to the last take... done with that, we prepare to record another one, the mics are live, and then we heard a sound... I don't know how to describe it... like...
