Any chance you can record something ? I'd appreciate it

    2x12 Cab Question

I already have G12T-75's on my marshall amp, and I'm looking for a different option for sure. However the Marshall cab is 1936V (not the 1936 with g12-75) and is using Celestion G12 Vintage Speakers 70w (the so called "marshall's v30's"). As far as price goes from cheaper to most expensive...

    2x12 Cab Question

They are G12 Vintage 70w, but from what I've heard they are the marshall's v30's (don't really know how close they sound).

    2x12 Cab Question

So I just ordered a 5150iii 50w and I'm now searching for a 212 cab for it. I want to record/gig with it so I've narrowed my options to a Marshall 1936V or paying an extra 150€ for an Orange PPC212, I really need some feedback.

    Tuning issues with .062 strings...

I use elixir's .052 for drop C on my LP and it's the perfect fit, try some Baritone set? It can also be your tuner definition or bridge height. Edit: Also check out pelican, baroness and even mastodon they all use guitars similar to LP's on B,drop B, etc.

    Les Paul Traditional

I started the thread about Traditional Vs Eclipse, as I couldn't physically play the guitars everyone (30vs4 I think) told me to go for the eclipse because it had better QC and were more reliable. However in the end I didn't really wanted a guitar with EMG's I went for the Gibson and I don't...

    YT: Diezel VH4 - Metal

One of your best recordings, great tone. What's your opinion on ch4 ? too compressed?

    Recording rehearsals

As the rehearsal place is not only ours we have time to set-up 2 mic's at the most. When we are recording we use DI's with impulses + midi drums with my 2 input usb interface (edirol ua-25). I'm just trying to achieve some clarity so we can list to our stuff post rehearsal and check our...

    Recording rehearsals

Hey, so the deal is my band wants to record our rehearsals, only to keep track of our progress and jam's, because we've lost good songs or parts made on jam's because we can't quite remember them well enough. This poorly paint made image should illustrate our current space, and our plan's...

looking for a high-end guitar, recommendations?

I opened a topic close to this one a few months ago http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/equipment/624097-esp-eclipse-ii-vs-gibson-les-paul-trad.html. However as due to some sort of Esp shortage on the colours I liked and the fact that it does have EMG's and I'm sick with them I went over with a...

Recording a Tube Amp using impulses

I got a recording out and recording compesated output. What I don't know is if their design was meant to DI the amp when playing live or to use it like I'm. Edit: Found this Q: What’s the Direct Out and Recording Compensated Out for? A: The Direct Out is an unfiltered signal directly...

Recording a Tube Amp using impulses

So here's the deal, lately I've been using my jcm900 50w combo to record my band demo, however as I can't krank it or mic it properly. The solution I found is to turn the power on but leave the stand by on the amp, using either the Send or Recording Output to my interface and then put some...
