Mesa is always going sound ace. I would keep the marshall as well though it has its place on stage or studio as well

the wood your guitar is made of will affect your fizzies as well. basswood is very mid sounding alder is brighter etc.. i cant recomend pickups without knowing what guitar you have. but if this helps i have emg81 in basswood and BKP Painkiller in alder and both sound great throuh my 5150...

I gotta say I disagree with pretty much everyone on this one. If you want to sound loud be loud If you want to sound powerfull put some guts into it. Write good lyrics believe in your lyrics and the Passion will bring it all out naturally

Hey when you see a live band do you want to hear tight music or see the band jump around. I ask because i like to jump around. so we play slightly less complicated music and try and mosh it off when we play. but most of the over local band's seem to play more intricate stuff but stand stock...
