    New ENCHANT !!! Official !!!

So stoked to know these news! I hadn't checked for updates in a while, but I'm glad I did, new Enchant sounds are most anticipated and it's great to know the line-up is still intact. I have an Enchant cd that I made from my albums to listen to in my truck, I broke it out about a week ago and...

    XEN

I'd buy another Xen album for sure. "Red Letter Day" is definitely a standout track for me, but i love the whole album.

For the drummers in this forum...

If you haven't heard yet, the new drum instruction dvd from Rush's Neil Peart, "Anatomy Of A Drum Solo" is out and it is definitely worth the price of admission. Being that it's released by Hudson Music, it does have a rather steep cost. However, if you're a drummer or a Neil fan, or like...

    Favorites of 2005

Sieges Even- "The Art Of Navigating By The Stars" was easily the album i bought this year that i've listened to the most. hell, i'm listening to it right now. a lot of great songs on this disc, but i have to say, "Unbreakable" is my very favorite. Biggest disappointment this year: Mark...

    Best Performances

i thought the Gigantour was awesome! even if i only really went to see a few of the bands playing, they didn't disappoint! Dream Theater was of course excellent and it's probably a given that Megadeth was killer, but my pleasant surprise was Symphony X. i wanted to see them last year when they...

    Gigantour Anyone?...

Being that shows worth paying to see don't come around my neck of the woods often, I'm really excited to say I'll be seeing the Gigantour August 31st! I was wondering if anyone here has seen any shows yet? Or what their thoughts were? I'm really pumped to finally see Symphony X live, I missed a...

    King's X

Personally, I think Tape Head may be one of my top 10 favs of all time. Though it was my featured selection of the month, way back when, Dogman, that started my true love for the band. I've got my fingers crossed that King's X will release a justified live dvd sometime, maybe InsideOut might agree?

    Way overdue updates

Personally, I know already, my odds of ever seeing Enchant live are slim to none. I live deep in the sticks of Charleston, WV and no good music is ever mentioned around here. Byzantine recorded their album practically in my backyard, but after meeting those guys, I seriously can't stomach them...

    Presto Ballet

This Presto Ballet sounds interesting, may have to pick that up myself. As far as the other releases go, I haven't heard the new Shadow Gallery, though I loved Legacy. For the new Dream Theater, I liked it quite a bit. Octavarium sorta took me back to 'Falling Into Infinity' for some reason, but...

    Wishlist Top 3...

I must say I'm really disappointed there won't be anything new from Ark soon. Burn The Sun to me has to be a top 5 album of all time. Of all the albums I own, that album never gets old to me, it's one of very few I can listen to repeated anytime and still love. So I guess if I must strike that...

    Wishlist Top 3...

First, I'm curious if maybe anyone else has heard about an upcoming Ark release? Anyhow, if so, that album, Simpsons Season 6, and of course, the upcoming Enchant album would be the top 3 on my futures wishlist. Also, I'm curious if the "Live At Last" cd/dvd releases have impacted or...

    Genesis/Marillion/Rush

First, the album Signals is one I'd recommend, there are no bad tracks. It's one of very, very few albums I can listen to on repeat without wanting skip something eventually. Next, I'd recommend Test For Echo for more recent material. This is a great album to play very loud for me...

Nearfest bootleg I keep hearing about!

Just one more post for this subject. To Ed, it's great to imagine an even better Nearfest performance. Also, though i've never seen the 2002 video footage, i'm sure if the band decides to release the audio, fans will agree, that evening's performance was a diamond in the "rough"!
