I really miss ProgPower uk. It was a fantastic gig and a real shame that it just wasn't viable in Uk. Metalfest last September tried but Mark, the promoter, lost a shedload of money.

Very interesting reading this thread. I am coming from the UK so would hope to pick up titles that are hard to get over here or new stuff that just has never been mentioned here! Hopeful that I can get some serious recommendations to take with me back over the pond. I guess there must be many...

I am a progpower noob and my BA flight from London gets in (I think!) about 19.05 Tuesday. Anyone at the airport who spots me in shorts and (probably!) a Bloodstock festival t-shirt please say hi. I will probably be looking lost and confounded. But then I generally do.....

Well, the new album is out in the UK and it is a real return to form in my view. Fantastic production and the packaging is something else. A contender for album of the year I think!

This is good. Saw them at Metalfest, Dudley, UK last Autumn and they were awesome! They all stayed in my hotel and a nicer bunch of guys you wouldnt not want to meet!

Maiden have a policy of having show specials that they will never sell in the same format on their website. Yes, you can probably get the latest tour shirt from a web store but it wont be quite the same. I saw them at Twickenham last time around and didnt buy the 'rugby' design eddie shirt...

Both the albums are available on eMusic.com, certainly in UK. Yep, not bad at all. If there is a chance of getting to UK I say go for it!

Just got my copy of the CD + DVD here in UK. Awesome! They also appeared at metalfest in Dudley, UK last September and played a blinding set as headliners to a pretty good crowd! Really nice guys as well!

I was a very happy Zune user but when I switched to a Mac I didnt realise that there is no way of syncing it! So, very reluctantly switched to a iPod Classic. i really like the player but i totally hate itunes! If Zune ever settle their differences and write a Mac programme I would switch...
