Hi I have a problem that I was hoping to get some help with. When playing guitar to fast drum beats like typical Slayer stuff for instance where the bass drums are pounding away on all the 16th notes and the snare marks the off-beats, I find it extremely difficult to keep in time with the beat...

Isn't that why we have bassists? ;)

Probably 10 - 46... That's what most people who play in standard tuning uses.

It's just that I can play Leper Affinity from start to finish. And those riff you mention aren't really fast. You have have to move your left and a lot, but it's not fast as in a lot of notes in a short time. The "GHOST OF PERDITION" riff, doesn't really require anything from the left hand...

There's not really any fast parts in Leper Affinity is there? The "GHOST OF PERDITION" part is quite fast. But I'm not sure it's faster than Heir Apparent.

Yeah I second that too. Playing barre chords for too long can really be painful. Especially on an acoustic.
