It's hit or miss for me. I absolutely love Homogenic and Vespertine, they have such a unique atmosphere. But I can't stand Medulla or Volta. I guess Post and Debut are ok.

I thought they were dead too.. Thanks for posting this. I probably would have never found it.

Hi MetalMan & Lina :wave: you may remember me.. may not. I still check this forum, just hardly ever feel the need to say anything. I agree with mostly everything you said about the old days... I miss it. I think things started deteriorating when they took away the off-topic forum and banned Oyo...

I don't understand... is it coming out today or not? I never heard any news that it was delayed from the march 23rd date... but would make sense that I cannot find anywhere to buy it.

There are several bands I wish I liked but can't get into. It certainly seems to contradict itself but I know what the OP is talking about. I have tried several times and several songs, I simply cannot get into Kayo Dot, In the Woods..., Mastodon, Genesis, Evergrey, Moonspell, Lacuna Coil...

Just ordered myself a copy. Sounds great, (was listening on Last.fm) very promising...

Daylight Dies n00b here... I discovered them about 2 months ago through Last.fm recommended artists. I believe it played "A Life Less Lived" and I knew I had to get into them. I have Dismantling Devotion and will get the others very soon.

I think Tetrisphere for the Nintendo 64 may be my favorite video game music ever. Runner up would be Donkey Kong Country 2.

double album would be cool, it would certainly make up for no new Anathema for so long. Of course, that would mean it would take twice as long to record & mix :p

I agree with alcapoth, the song is good but not nearly as good as some of my favorites... for Panopticon, they released "So Did We" and I listened to that about 100 times while waiting for the album. They have a lot to live up to.

I think I'll be the first to say ( I think?) that I like "Everything" better than this new one. I love the colours, the harmonization, and the buildup in "Everything," I honestly don't think it's cheesy. Music doens't always ahve to be depressing. So, is the band ever going to release an album...
