Brutal Deathcore Mix. PLEASE RATE IT!

maybe a little verb on the drums, small plate maybe, and vocals could come up a bit in some places, or maybe some multiband compression on the drums around the frequency your vocals are sitting, maybe 5k? so they cut through the mix, other than that it sounds awesome dude!!! are you using...

Editing : Am I doing this right? - good singer inside

look into VocAlign, it's a plugin that aligns time, pitch and phase of two signals, so great for blending like what you're doing, and it can be run as a VST so that'll work for you in Cubase. Great voice too, I like what you're going for, cool sound!!

First time posting a mix on here.

For starters the guitar in the front is insanely loud, the drums sound extremely far away, and guitars in second part sound extremely boxy. As far as advice, I would say you probably should invest in some good monitors ($500-$1000) to get a more accurate idea of how your mix will translate into...

I really like my Focusrite Saffire Pro 40

@Jackal_Strain get the octopre mkII or the octopre mkII dynamic, its just another 8 channels and the dynamic adds focusrite compressors to each channel with the same flexibility and satiability of the pro 40 the Pro 40 can't be used as a standalone unit for an additional 8 pre's, you'll...

Profire 2626 vs Saffire Pro 40

I've got the Saffire Pro 40 and I LOVE it!! I use the ProFire 2626 at school, and it's a great interface as well. I personally prefer the sound of the pre's and converters in the Saffire, they are PRISTINE! The converters in the Saffire pro 40 are the same chip use in the Apogee Duet so anyone...

Rate my new song/mix - testing Saffire Pro

Sounds awesome man! I've got a Pro 40 also and it gets killer tone! It seriously one of the most over looked interfaces out there. I prefer the Pro 40 over Profire 2626 and Firepod. Great sound man, very well balanced mix. Everything sounds killer!! Are those real drums or samples? And are you...

Quick mix test (Pod Farm 2/ SD2.0 MF)

what did you use to make that stutter effect in the background and is it over a guitar or synth? looped? Sounds awesome btw, i think you're overthinking the kick, in my monitors (ns10s) it cuts through just fine.
