Scald calling . . . any dutch or belgian heads here?

For a self-released CD this one is packaged especially beautifully. The trio Scald hails from Ireland and what they are delivering here surely requires some time to grow. It concerns a mix between crust, black, doom and punk, with the emphasis on continuously returning riffs. This reminds me...

A nice song to die with

A great *album* to die with, IMO, would be Elend - Les Ténèbres Du Dehors.

    Godspeed You Black Emperor

I have the ASMZ album He Has Left Us Alone... and indeed think, that it is at least as good as the GYBE material, maybe even better... But it all depends on the mood, as well. At some moments the huge majestic, apocalyptic, sound of GYBE fits better, whereas at some other moments, I would...

    Dark Tranquility Vs In Flames

In Flames is, imo, pretty boring, and if you heard a few songs off an album of them, it seems as if you've heard them all... And there's not much variation between their albums either... Dark Tranquillity, on the other hand, are one of my Top 5 all time favourite bands...

What is that Dark Tranquility song that send chills down your back?

You're not the only one at that... Esp. the part where the lyrics in my signature are from, is one of the more beautiful parts of music i have ever heard... (maybe that was actually the reason why i chose to use that part as my sig ;) )
