I bought the trackbox yesterday and I haven't had a chance to test it out yet. How is it? Is the tube-gizmo more like a character adder or a distortion?

-1 on the genelec hate! 1031's are fucking excellent imo. Not hyped when you use the -2 high/treble switch. I think the +-0 setting is more for the impress-factor for the client and the -2 for actual mixing. At least my mixes have improved a lot since I got used to mixing with them...

For home listening: -Yamaha hs 50 m monitors 300e a pair -Yamaha sw 10 sub 350e(normal price 850e!!!!!!!) I hope the sub ain't too over the top for the hs50's. Haven't tried it yet.

I'm getting a "new" one for 350e and noticed that the real price is 850e :O. Anyone have this? Is it any good? just to clarify: it's a display model in a music store... Thus the price.
