Actually the drama could have been prevented if you didn't have these weird OCD issues. So now do us all a favor...go pre-order the $70 edition and shut-it!! :lol:

I preordered the special edition, which seems like it's going to be really nice! I just wish it wasn't quite so expensive, because $70 including shipping to the US is really steep, but I know damn well it won't be available anywhere else so I'm stuck.

I can't help but notice that the dead bird's ribcage is see-through, but all you see is plain white behind it, instead of being able to see the trees and the grey landscape. This is almost as much of a tragedy as the band only putting 11 songs on the album! :lol:

Sorry to bump an old thread, but does anyone still have this "Heathen Soil" song from Glittertind downloaded? I'm dying to hear it, and I can't find it anywhere online.

I'm having a hard time getting excited about this. It'll probably be just more shitty Heritage-type songwriting by Mikael, but now with the annoying "nerd" vocals of Steven Wilson.

Agreed. The new Anathema is amazing, but the new Opeth is a real snoozer. I don't necessarily think the problem is the new direction, it's the songs in general. I think Mikael is getting a bit of an ego problem lately and thinks he can do no wrong...but Heritage is just not very well written...

So is this Tour Edition actually out yet? Where can I get a copy? The Century Media site has it listed as currently out of stock.

I think Jonas' vocals on Tonight's Decision are already really good, so I really don't see the point in re-doing that one. Actually when that album came out I remember thinking he had really improved vocally since Discouraged Ones. Sure he's even better now, but Tonight's Decision he still...
