I've looked around everywhere and can't find a balanced to xlr cable, they just dont seem to be around, and can't really understand why a mono can't be used since the signal out would be mono (would it?)

I've just bought a pair of Adam A7 monitors and just noticed that they only have xlr input, however my interface only has ordinary 6.3 mm jack plugs. Does anyone know if I get any signal loss if I use a xlr to 6.3mm cable between them or if I'm better off running the signal through a mixer.

I write all my drums in guitar pro and import them into cubase and I haven't had any problems at all...some things have to be moved around to fix the mapping in whatever drum program i'm currently using.

Tim (vocalist, as i lay dying) doesn't fry scream! He didnt on frail words, not on shadows and not on ocean between us. Tim has said in interviews that he has to use 100% of his capacity to get the sound he gets. Sure there are some effects on there, but mostly its layering of vocal tracks...

This sounds so much more promising then the last album...drumming was insane but production was horrible. Can't wait for the new one!

Has anybody got any idea what amp they used for this album? It could be a 5150 with tons of saturation and loadsa eq-work, but no way near sure.

There is no body in the piano. If you've recorded it in midi move everything down one octave. It sounds a bit honky-tonky. It interferes with the other strings, it would also make the song more dynamic.

I tried one about 6 years ago and it sounded pretty good i remember. But there isn't much room for tweeking your own sound.
