What sim / impulse combination you guys prefer for stoner / doom type guitarsound, Sleep, High on Fire, YOB, Black Sabbath for example? I've been using HyBrit with ReCabinet 2.1 1960 impulses, but I'm not perfectly happy. Some examples of what I'm looking for ...

I think the album sounds cold and hollow someway :( (Disclaimer : I love Jens Bogren's work with Opeth!). Songwise, it's not bad, but I enjoyed Symphony X a lot more when they were a cheesy classical metal band with lots of melody and prog rock influense.

May be true for the tight modern metalcore sounds, but every Doom/Stoner guy has 24.75" guitar usually tuned from C# to A, most guys seem to prefer C standard. Of course most of their stuff is usually slightly out of tune though :loco: (sorry for my drunken pointless post :DDD stoner metal...

I don't get the plot, why are the soldiers in white trying to kill me? Who the fuck is Gould and why is he speaking to me? Did anyone else get seriously dissapointed when you saw an alien enemy the first time? Having lots of fun with cloak mode and Ranged Scar head shots by the way :P

I was not a fan of the original Crysis at all and hated Black Ops, but I actually enjoy Crysis 2 a lot more I thought I would. I would not call it awesome yet, though, but I'm not even halfway in the campaign, I hope it keeps gettting better.

I'm not even a Black Metal purist by any means, but I see most of you guys really miss the point about black metal production, and miss it really bad. Keep on doing the friendly generic metalcore sound :D
