Again, this is not set in stone. I like DT for their chemistry they have as a band, but your right, their songwrighting is mostly godawful (SFAM is one of my very least favourite albums, far too much wankery). And the the Dave Weckl band is the same - the earlier records were amazing, Synergy...

I'm not a massive fan, if you care to ask. I think they are far too ambitious for what they have, technique-wise. And, if a musician's gonna wank, at least they should do it with some technique and finesse... Just IMO.

Sorta continuing from the other thread, but a bit different. This pisses me off a lot, that most people can't seem to *get* classical music. They find it boring/repetetive/embarrasing, and i can't seem to understand why. And then people are really inconsiderate about it saying it's a genre...
