Oh snap, when I first heard someone was out I was scared it was someone like Henriksson or even Stanne, but then I realized that would probably never happen. It's too bad though that he had to leave, I do remember seeing them live and he was definitely an integral part of the show.

daves such an asshole and cant keep a band together, but musicians probably flock to him since hes such a figurehead and want to make a name for themselves

ive been listening to them to much lately. anyways i want to find some new bands like them. dont know what id call em, prog viking or something? no matter. just stuff thats kicks ass like them.

Most bands you see at local shows are quite mediocre and low key. But to my surprise, one dark and cold night in a small town called Delran, NJ, I happened upon a ear shattering metal band playing some sleazy pool hall. My expectations were low, expecting a generic metalcore or some dime a dozen...

the only metalcore band i pay attention to is shadows fall... if they are metalcore.... fuck if i know with all these genre mixing assholes and too-specific definitions of music nowadays.

dont get me wrong... i love female vocalists and think theyre very talented... but all those gothic bands with female vocalists are a dime a dozen. im looking for something different. i know theres also a fair amount of male vocalists in gothic metal like soulrelic, entwine, charon, sentenced...

was tommys leg still broken at this show? that might account for the pirouetting

i listened to i think it was colossus by borknagar but the vocals were good, but were they baritone?
