He does all the writing and production but he doesn't play everything on the recordings. Although as everyone has mentioned, I've heard that all the solos are in fact Devy.

I'll be going to the Toronto show. It's all ages...but it doesn't really matter since I'm 21. I'm really looking forward to it...too bad Lacuna Coil dropped from the tour.

I'm having an argument with someone on another board whether Iced Earth is power metal or not...what are your opinions? I say Iced Earth is power metal/heavy metal, but he says they have zero elements of power metal. Am I way off?

I don't know much about old school metal either, my guess was Napalm Death.

I like SOAD too. They aren't playing nu-metal, but they were a part of that scene and they are marketed towards the same audience as nu-metal bands, so that's why they're generally associated with it.
